Dogs of Discord is a collection of digitally painted dog portraits, minted as ERC-721 tokens living on the Ethereum blockchain.
Dogs can be purchased using the cryptocurrency Ether (ETH), which is the transactional token that facilitates operations on the Ethereum network.
You will need to purchase enough Ether (ETH) to cover the cost of your dog NFTs, as well as the cost of 'gas' ⛽, which are the fees associated with transactions on the Ethereum blockchain network. These fees are distributed to the miners who keep the blockchain up and running and validate your transactions.
Each dog NFT is 0.1 ETH. Gas can fluctuate wildly, and I'd recommend purchasing 0.15 ETH to ensure that you have more than enough to cover the transactions and gas fees associated with purchasing your dog.

I will be "bundling" your package of dogs, so that you only initiate 1 transaction, instead of needing to initiate multiple transactions to purchase your dogs. More on this later.

<aside> 🎁 Purchasing Dogs as Gifts
If you plan on transferring your dog(s) as gifts for your friends or family, you will have to do this on a per-dog basis (meaning transferring dogs one at a time). This will require gas for each transaction, so make sure you pad your wallet with some extra ETH.

Now that you have some background info, here's how you can purchase ETH to buy your dog(s):
on iPhone (or Desktop)
Download Coinbase on your iPhone (or go to Coinbase.com and start an account).
Coinbase is an exchange where you can purchase a number of different cryptocurrencies, including ETH and BTC (Bitcoin).
Sign in, set up and account and link your bank.
There should be a Trade button or a list of possible currencies. Click on ETH (not ETH2) and click Buy.
I recommend purchasing 0.15 ETH to cover costs (per dog).
Once this order goes through, it should be available immediately. You can leave it in this account while you set up a Metamask Wallet.
